Meal service waste is sorted into organic and non-organic bins. Trash from the lodging areas are collected as non-organic mixed waste. Recyclable plastic bottles are collected into their respective places.
Infections are contracted and spread easily in campground settings. For this reason, all service guests are expected to abide by the following hygiene instructions.
- Wash and disinfect hands regularly; always before eating and always after using the bathrooms.
- Hand disinfectant is available at the service restaurant and grills. Disinfectant can also be purchased at the convenience store on the service site.
- The tap water on the service site is clean. Bottled water may be purchased at the convenience store on the service site. Purchase food in bulk (by the liter) for only one mealtime as prepared food spoils quickly in warm weather
- Service guests with upset stomachs or diarrhea are encouraged to leave the service site to prevent spreading the illness.
