The Summer Services accommodation service provides invited guest, classroom, and communal accommodations in schools for Summer service visitors, as well as private accommodation in the nearby area and rented caravans and motorhomes brought to the assigned rental caranvan area. The renting of these is done through the accommodation webshop at kauppa.suviseurat.fi

A lessor can offer accommodation (houses, cottages, apartments, caravans and caravans) for rent. using this form from 11.3.2024.

Accommodation shop opens on 8.4.2024. Accommodation will become available throughout the spring and if there are any cancellations, the property will be put back on the market. So it’s worthwhile to keep checking current offerings.

Classroom and shared accommodation

Classroom accommodation is available at schools in Pudasjärvi, Ranua and Taivalkoski. It is sold in packages of three or four nights. Classroom accommodation is located within 5 – 70 km of the service area.

From the schools located in the Pudasjärvi city center, it possible to purchase a night in shared accommodation at the schools’ gymnasium. The are seperate gymansiums for men and women. The price of accommodation is €25 per night.

Classroom and shared accommodation does not include a mattress, but an air mattress can be purchased from the accommodation webshop or the accommodation office at the service site. Mattresses booked through the accommodation webshop will be delivered to the classrooms. The premises open in the evening at 8 pm and must be vacated by 10 am each morning. The premises will be closed during the day. A shuttle bus service from schools in Pusdasjärvi’s city center to the service site will be provided for a fee.

Those staying for the night have the option to work a couple hour shift as night watch guard. You can indicate your interest when booking accommodation, after which you will be contacted by the accommodation office.

A booked and paid classroom or shared accommodation can be cancelled free of charge until 9.6.2024. A 40€ reservation fee will be deducted from the return.

Private accommodation and rental caravans

Private accommodation includes houses, cottages and apartments. The accommodation service offers these destinations in the accommodation webshop and charges a brokerage fee of €40. The actual rental contract and payment of the rent are made directly between the rentee and the landlord.

Caravans and caravans brought ready to the service area can also be rented from the accommodation webshop . The accommodation service will offer these in the accommodation webshop and will charge a brokerage fee of €20 (which includes the key brokerage service). The actual rental contract and payment of the rent is made directly between the rentee and the landlord.

There is a dedicated site for rental caravans, with a key exchange point. There will be an on-call service starting Tuesday 25.6.2024 12pm -10pm and Wednesday and Thusday 9am – 12 am (midnight) . At other times, you can reach the on-call officer by phone at +358 40 1320 792.
