The Summer Services week has now started after a long period of preparation. The services program can be followed as a multichannel live broadcast on the Finnish radio, internet radio and YouTube stream.
This website, along with the SRK social media channels on Facebook (SRKnyt and Päivämies), on Instagram (SRKnyt, Päivämies and Kapsäkkijutut) and on Twitter (Suviseurat), will communicate daily about current topics related to the Summer Services and Summertime Service Radio.
This suviseurat.fi website is designed to serve also international service guests multilingually. Sermon interpretations are available in nine languages and can be listened as recordings, which are found in the program section of each language version. English interpretations, for example, can be listened on the English program page.
About the Daily Service Program
The Summer Services broadcast from Reisjärvi, Finland, will begin on Thursday, July 1, on the radio and the internet. A song session will be heard at 12 pm, and services will continue until the evening.
On Friday, the Opening of the Summer Services will start at 10 am. In addition to the Opening and traditional service program, Friday’s program includes SRK’s publications presentation at 7 pm. The new publications are available for purchase on the SRK publications store. On Friday evening an introduction on the topic ‘Security through personal faith’ will be heard at 9 pm.
On Saturday, services will begin at 9 am. The services at 11.30 will also be broadcast on YLE Radio 1. At 3 pm there will be mission work news and at 5 pm communion songs. An introduction on ‘Trusting in God’ will follow at 6 pm and the day’s program will end with requested songs’ evening and an evening devotion.
On Sunday, July 4, services will continue with the traditional service program and a word worship service from Reisjärvi Opisto at 10 am, and children’s song session and Sunday school at 12.
