The 2021 Summer service moto is from the book of Psalms: In you, O Lord, I put my trust (psalm 31:1 in eng. bible)

In the midst of our fast changing time we encounter many such phenomenons,unto which are difficult to have influence. Many experience this to be demanding , that one must trust in oneself, and to be able to control complex situations and be responsible for them.

In the midst of change and insecurity our service motto reminds us of the steadfast security, trust and care of our Almighty God. Trusting upon God does not nevertheless mean  irresponsibility. God’s word teaches to believe our sins forgiven and to live according to the will of God.

 The symbolic significance behind the service logo which appears on the web page is,  it pictures the service motto and  these Reisjärvi Summer services.

An image of a young person sitting with a song book in their hand, is not the service motto from the old testament song book, the book of Psalms. The image is leaning upon a seat which is in the shape of a hand which in turn symbolizes trusting in God’s guidance and care. On the other hand it also symbolises sitting and hearing God’s word and trusting upon it.

Their gaze is set upon the lit up cross in the sky. which pictures faith in Christ. The light projected from the cross onto the image represents the grace and love of God towards man.

The design of the logo reminds us of a barn or cabin which signifies God’s Kingdom as our home. The barn reminds us of the service area, these being the last service held in a field atmosphere according to plan.

Of the logo colors the grey represents a rock, the unwavering trust in all phases of our lives willed by God. Green represents life, growth and all good things in our lives, it also pictures the fields upon which these services have been arranged. Purple represents the redemption work of Christ and the most important matter in our lives,´`Faith“. Purple is an old color which in the past was very valued and was only used in very highly valued and elegant cloth.
