Welcome to Suviseurat Summer Services in Muhos!

The 2019 Summer Services (June 28th− July 1st, 2019) will be held in the southwest corner of the Muhos town, in the cultural and farming area of the Oulu River. The service area is a square shaped field area that is a little over 200 hectares in size. Highway 4 runs on the southern side and the Oulu – Kajaani Highway 22 on the northern side. There are three parking areas along the entry roads and a bus station for public transportation.

The service site is about 30 km from Oulu and about 40 km from the Oulunsalo airport. The Association of Peace congregations of Oulu, Pateniemi, Pikkarala, Madekoski, Muhos, Laitasaari, Utajärvi ja Juorkuna are responsible for the arrangement of the event so that it will be easy to get there and that you will have a pleasant time there.

Living Christianity arrived in the Oulu River Valley in the 1850’s. God has affected and strengthened His word so that we can still come together to hear and believe the good message, the greetings from Heaven. The invitation is for everyone. The work of God’s Kingdom still continues according to the duty given by the Saviour: the gospel is to be preached to all nations. The central message is the forgiveness of sins in Jesus’ name and blood.

The moto for the summer services is from the blessing that the Lord encouraged to bless the children of Israel with (Numbers: 6:24). We also want to welcome the service guests with these words. The wish of the service organizers is that this blessing could reach service guest near and far.
