SRK Mission work and humanitarian aid info center
On the summer service site, near the SRK book store is an information booth which provides information about SRK’s mission work and humanitarian aid. The info center makes it possible for anyone willing to help support these activities by offering monetary donations.
Domestically, the SRK arranges mission services in areas where there are seldom services. Foreign mission work is done in 18 different countries, Russia, the Baltics, Nordics, Central and Southern Europe, Africa, plus North and South America.
The purpose of the SRK mission work is to spread the invitation to God’s kingdom and preach the forgiveness of sins.
On our missions to Africa and South America we have encountered even temporal needs and urgency. The SRK has founded a humanitarian aid committee to coordinate and manage fund-raising and seeing that help is delivered to these destinations.
Would you want to give your support in arranging these mission trips or local activities, for instance, services and sunday school in these specific countries? Or would you like to provide your help and assistance to those who are faced with temporal needs and distress? Or would you want to allocate your donations to enable impoverished children the possibility to go to school by providing funds to pay for their tuition or books?
You may direct your donations to either mission work and local activities or humanitarian aid. Your donation may be a lump-sum donation or you may become a monthly gift contributor.
The Info Center open hours are: Thursday 2 pm – 9 pm, Friday through Sunday 9 am – 9 pm, Monday 9 am – 3 pm.
Monetary donations may be directed to SRK’s account number
