Health Services
Guests are advised to be adequately prepared for outdoor conditions
When exposed to outdoor camping conditions, infections and contagious sickness (vomiting and diarrhea, for example) may spread easily. The health and wellbeing of anyone affected by these can be weakened rapidly. Sick guests are advised to care for their health at home instead of spreading infections or sudden illnesses to others. If your stomach illness requires hospital care, please inform its medical staff that you have been attending the summer services so any possible epidemia can be traced.
Hand hygiene is of utmost importance in preventing epidemics. After using toilets and before eating it is important to wash your hands with soap and water and add disinfectant to dry hands. Disinfectant dispensers are conveniently located near the queuing lines near the cafeteria and grill.
Hand soap and disinfectants are also good to have at your campers and tents. Disinfectants can be purchased from the convenience stores and drugstore on the service site.
Clean drinking water is available from the juomavesipiste, water faucets and bottled water may be purchased from the convenience stores, both on the service site. When purchasing food, we advise to buy only servings for one mealtime only, because in warm weather, ready food can spoil rapidly.
No pets are allowed on the service site for reasons of human safety and hygiene. It is advisable to arrange care for household pets before leaving home for the duration you are attending summer services.
First Aid Station
The summer service First Aid Station will be operating from Thursday, June 29th 10 am until Monday July 3rd 3:30 pm. This round-the-clock service is meant for service guests needing immediate medical attention at the service site. For other medical needs, guests are advised to seek needed health and medical attention from the public hospital and medical centers in their home communities. Please be advised to take with you any prescribed medication and any other medical supplies you are already using.
To help cover for basic supplies, the First Aid Station will charge a nominal fee of 10 euros for each patient.
First responders
First responders may be called to the site of an emergency by dialling the Common Emergency Number, 112, or contacting any Järjestyksenvalvoja, security personnel or traffic controller on the service site. In the event of an emergency, we advise to write the alphanumeric grid coordinates of your location already onto your service schedule, for example. The First Responders will be on call 24/7 at the service site for the entire duration of the summer services.
Drug Store
Near the First Aid Station is a service site Apteekki, Drug Store, which carries the most basic self-care medical supplies (like pain-, allergy-, indigestion-, constipation-, and stomach medicines), plus bandages for cuts, skin care, and other drug store products. Physician-prescribed medicines can be ordered and shuttled a few times daily from the Central Drug Store in the City of Pori.

Child care center
The Child Care Center is located in the center of the service site. The care center is a complex for many services, caring for lost children, an infant feeding area (with microwave ovens for warming baby foods), plus child washing facilities. Lost children found outside the center’s normal operating hours will be taken to the turvatoimisto, Security Center. Please see that your small children have name tag bracelets with contact information like names of parents and cell phone numbers. These handy bracelets may be purchased from the convenience store and cafeteria cashiers on the service site.

Child washing facilities
Small children can be bathed in the washing facilities near the toilets and located in the center of the service site. These facilities are meant for washing children in diapers. Children with diarrhea must be washed only in a stall specifically designated for them. Take with you your own towels, diapers, soap and shampoo.

Resting Center for Elderly
The Resting Center for the Elderly is meant for those who are aged, weak or impaired and needing rest or assistance. Near the center is an electrical mains outlet for respirators and medical equipment requiring electricity.

INVA- handicap area
INVA-area is reserved for only those service guests who have an official INVA permit granted by their local police department. The INVA -area showers and toilets are intended only for the handicapped and physically impaired services guests needing such assistance. Their relatives and aides many use the other toilets and showers for all other guests.
Electrical outlets
Near the Vanhusten levähdyspaikka, Resting Center for Elderly, are electrical outlets for special medical equipment and recharging similar equipment. There it is possible to use Spira respirators that require electricity.
